• If you are facing a challenging time with your teenager

• if you are worried, a little or very much, for him/her

• if he/she experiences the fight between light and night or suffers

• if you struggle to help him/her find the Way, the Truth and the Life

We offer you to rest by laying down those worries onto the powerful prayer of our elderly and sick people who are ready to offer their sufferings for your son or daughter.

• You just need to fill the consent form with your details and preferred time to be contacted.

• The coordinator will phone/email you and give you the address of the “apostle” who is going to pray for your teenager for a month.

• You then send the first name (or another of the baptism names if you want it to be more confidential) to your allocated “apostle”. You also give some details of the situation, in big characters and if possible printed.

• At the end of a whole month, if you want the “apostle” to carry on praying, you ask again by sending another letter with updates.

Do not forget to thank your “apostle” when the praying time is finished! And to send an email to the coordinator.

Our elderly/sick people can feel very isolated. By giving them the mission to pray for your teenager, you are helping them a lot already. Your monthly letter is very appreciated.

Of course some would love to have a visit or a phone call! Talk to us if you would like to do it.

And if you wish, we would like to put you on the list of people available for emergencies.
Indeed we have promised our “apostles” that we will visit them if they are in hospital and assist them with our prayers if they are dying.

You are also more than welcomed to join us the last Friday of the month (usually… check the home page of this website to be on the safe side!) between 2.00 and 3.00. The parish will organise a mass/an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament/a prayer time followed by refreshments for all those involved in Pray for our Teens

On this occasion, names of the young people whom “apostles” have been praying for during the month are going to be placed on a basket at the foot of the altar.
