I do not know if I can ask the prayer for my teenager, could you tell me more?
If you are worried for your teenager, if he or she suffers for any reason, do not hesitate to ask the prayer of our elderly parishioners, it is their mission.
If you are not particularly worried but you would like someone to pray for his/her exams for example, ask some parents or friends to do so!
I am not a catholic, can I still ask for a prayer for my teenager?
Of course! The Mercy of God is for everyone.
I don’t have time, will I have to visit the elderly person?
There is no obligation. You just do what your heart tells you to do.
I know an elderly person but it might be too complicated for him/her, can he/she still be part of it?
Of course! This is a communion of hearts. We are just asking the elderly person to pray with the young person in heart, nothing else matters.
I know someone but he/she is not part of the parish, can he/she join?
Of course he/she can!
But if he/she knows several other elderly people ready to pray, why don’t they start a Pray for our Teens group in their parish and pray for their young people? They can talk to the parish priest and we can help them set it up.
How can I introduce an elderly person whom I know to Pray for our Teens?
Start by looking at our website, then you can talk to someone who is part of it, phone or email the coordinator.
I have never prayed for a dying person, how could I do it?
Saying the chaplet of the Divine Mercy is a simple way to be at the side of the elderly person and to be present for him/her.
Being there is such a gift in itself.
And then let your heart speak.
I am 55 could I be praying for a teenager?
You are more than welcome to join us for our monthly prayer gathering at Ealing abbey.
The mission of daily prayer for a specific teenager is given to those who start to be limited in their ability to walk or to do things and who still want to be active in the parish.
